The St. Lazare/Hudson area has a few restaurants that are worth discovering if you haven't already.

Getting together with family or friends is always nice. With traffic going into the city, and parking almost impossible some nights, eating out isn't always a pleasant experience. Why not make a convenient choice and meet up at a place close to home?

There are many family restaurants where you expect there will be happy children. Fast-food places are everywhere and for busy parents who just need a break after a long day, have so many choices.

Sometimes, you just want some quiet time to break bread with your spouse, a friend, or co-worker. Depending on how much time you have or what you have a craving for, you'll find something to suit your liking just minutes away.

Bravo restaurant in St. Lazare's strip mall area has been around a long time. Quick, convenient, and a variety of different foods makes it a favorite among 'workers' in the area during daytime hours. It's quiet on week nights but the food is just as good. And if you don't want to walk or drive... they deliver!

Mon Village another fixture in the community, offers good food, drinks, and a fabulous Sunday brunch. I would always suggest a reservation because it is so popular among the locals.

The Willow Inn, under new ownership, is well worth a try. The view from the dining room or the outside terrace is breathtaking. If you haven't gone yet, you should. It's always been the place where I take my out of town friends. There is a sense of pride with sharing the beauty of where we live. Lucky us!
